JOB SUMMARY
Do you want to be part of a team focused on creating the best experiences for gamers? We are seeking an insights analyst to join NZXT’s Research and Insights team. You will use your analytical abilities and critical thinking, to support projects related to understanding customer behavior, accelerating brand positioning, building products, and sizing markets. You will be analyzing large data sets, reviewing survey results, researching gaming trends, creating dashboards, modeling markets, and performing ad hoc analyses. You must be analytical, curious, and like working with data. You will engage closely with Finance, Marketing, and Product.


JOB DESCRIPTION

● Translate Data into Actionable Insights: using internal/external data, consumer insights, product usage, and market intelligence to understand consumer behavior, product success, and influence NZXT’s future growth
● Research Trends in Gaming and Consumer Behavior: using primary, secondary, and syndicated data sources to pinpoint trends and extract meaningful conclusions
● Synthesize Third Party Market Data: modeling and sizing the market
● Deliver Compelling Storytelling through Insightful Presentations: identifying opportunities, pain points, and what is working to influence strategic decision-making
● Incorporate consumer-based insights across all marketing initiatives, product planning, and annual and strategic business planning: collaborating with internal stakeholders in Finance, Marketing, and Product by providing analyses to support their business needs
● Develop Dashboards and Topic-based Reports: using internal and external data to measure success and report on trends


EXPERIENCE
● 5+ years of hands-on experience as an analyst
● 5+ years of experience working with marketing analytics, consumer insights, customer experience analytics, marketing research, business strategy, or finance
● Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and organization skills
● Great at navigating internal and external data, asking questions to see the patterns behind data
● Ability to translate insights into thoughtful recommendations to drive business outcomes
● Experience in defining metrics, data tracking, and creating data visualizations
● Experience creating consumable presentations and storytelling
● Experience working with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs


SKILLS
● Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
● Strong proficiency with MS Office or Google Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, GoogleDocs/Sheets/Slides)
● Past Experience using data visualization tools such as Mode, Tableau, or Power BI
● Past Experience with SQL (multi joins, subqueries, unions)
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
● Skilled at translating different data set types into compelling actionable insights
● Strategic thinking and creative problem solving
● Strong desire to understand your customers
● Self-starter, highly motivated, curious, and adept in prioritization
● Ability to successfully work with teams across the company
● Clear communicator, who can deliver and present insights
● Will to learn new technologies and will for automation
● Gaming industry knowledge or experience in consumer products
● MBA and/or Advanced degree in related field
● Primary & secondary research experience
● Text analytics and sentiment analysis experience
