The Demand Planner is responsible for ensuring the item-level sales forecast supports the business objectives. They will use predictive methodologies to maximize sales, increase inventory turns and optimize in-stock across NZXT direct to consumer and wholesale channels. This is a key position for cash flow optimization and open-to-buy management. The individual should exude business agility and strategic thinking, leveraging data to make fact-based decisions. The Demand Planner will have the opportunity to build new structures and processes to strengthen the Planning foundation at NZXT.


  • Forecast sales and inventory; generate weekly and quarterly plans that meet NZXT’s financial and business objectives
  • Manage weekly product sales and inventory forecasts for all business units
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g. wholesale, product, operations) to align on sales and inventory forecasts
  • Analyze strategy (e.g. promotional, price adjustments) impacts to baseline forecasts and ensures appropriate sales lifts are applied
  • Drive sales by analyzing trends, forecasting sales, and reviewing inventory position
  • Identify risks and opportunities in sales and inventory; provide action plans on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with global operations to execute inventory buys and achieve turn targets
  • Create and maintain all weekly reporting and recaps such as Sell Thru reports
  • Support with ad-hoc analytical projects based on business needs



  • 3+ years retail demand planning experience
  • Advanced business knowledge of forecasting concepts with an understanding of their operational and financial impacts
  • High level of proficiency in working with numbers
  • Ability to utilize retail math skills to analyze and drive business
  • Well versed in Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions) and open to new systems
